Poker

Step into the poker lounge – where strategy and nerve take center stage as players meet in a duel that never loses its excitement.

Texas Hold'em & Omaha

We offer both Texas Hold’em and Omaha – two of the world’s most popular poker variants. Texas Hold’em is the classic favorite, played with two hole cards and community cards on the table, where strategy and timing are key.

Omaha is similar to Texas Hold’em, but you are dealt four hole cards instead of two – and must use exactly two of your own cards and three community cards to make a hand. This makes the game more action-packed and strategic, with more possible combinations.

FAQ & Rules

Tipping at the casino is not mandatory. Any tips are given solely at your own request and are of course appreciated as recognition of good service.

Yes. In tournaments, late registration is usually offered (typically 4 levels), where you still start with a full starting stack, even though the blinds may have increased.

To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, our poker tables follow a set of house rules and tournament guidelines. Here you will find practical information about gameplay, table etiquette, and the applicable rules at Casino Copenhagen. House Rules

A poker game at Casino Copenhagen – typically Texas Hold’em – begins with two players placing the mandatory bets called the small blind and big blind. Each player is then dealt two cards face down, which only they can see.
The game continues with a betting round, where players can choose to fold, call, or raise. After that, three community cards are dealt on the table (the flop), followed by another betting round. Then comes the fourth card (the turn) and another round of betting, and finally the fifth card (the river), followed by the last betting round.
If multiple players remain at the end, the cards are revealed in a showdown, and the best hand wins the pot. Poker is not only about the cards on the table, but also about reading the game and the other players.

The dealer leads the game at the table, deals cards or controls the roulette wheel, handles bets and pays out winnings. They ensure that the rules of the game are followed and that everything is done correctly and fairly.

Winnings are paid out either in cash at the casino or via bank transfer for larger amounts. You must show valid ID for larger winnings due to legal requirements. All winnings are tax-free.

Gambling should be fun. Play wisely, set limits for yourself, and only gamble what you can afford to lose.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other players and staff. It is not permitted to disrupt the game, use a mobile phone at the tables or receive outside help. The casino is monitored and staff can refuse guests or interrupt games at any time if irregularities are suspected.

Guests must follow the casino's rules and instructions from staff. Show consideration for other players, avoid disruptive behavior, and handle cards and chips correctly. Cheating, collaboration or the use of aids is not permitted and may result in expulsion. It is also customary to tip the dealer if you win.
