Nordic Open
May 5–10, 2026 (Week 19)

Step into a vibrant Nordic live poker festival, where the field ranges from recreational players to tournament pros. The festival has a long history – it originally began as events aimed at Norwegian players who, for a period, were unable to play poker in their home country, and who, through the magazine Vi Menn, helped organize tournaments in Copenhagen. In 2024, the name was changed to Nordic Open, reflecting how the tournament has grown into a recognized Scandinavian poker festival, bringing together a strong Nordic field and offering a substantial prize pool.

Nordic Open winner 2026

It turned into a short heads-up battle. Christian Blumensaadt’s pocket kings were all-in against Christian Bruun Kristensen’s pocket nines. No help came for the nines, and after counting the chips, it was confirmed that Christian Bruun Kristensen was covered by the narrowest of margins.

That meant Christian Blumensaadt was the winner of the Nordic Open 2026 Main Event and was welcomed by his family with hugs, applause, and high-fives

Look forward to Nordic Open 2026
