Casino Copenhagen, Denmark's first international casino, received in October 1990 a license by the Ministry of Justice, opened d. 31 December 1990 and as at. January 1, 2009 once again renewed the license for a new ten-year period.

Casino Copenhagen K/S, which has 150 employees, is owned equally by CIH Scandinavia Hotel and Casinos Austria International GmbH, Austria.

Casino Copenhagen K/S took over. May 1, 2014 Casino Marienlyst A / S and is now 100% owner of the cozy casino in Elsinore.

Casino Copenhagen is an exciting workplace with about 150 dedicated employees from 15 different countries.

All of us employees have more 10 years of service on average - and many have been here from the first spin of the roulette wheel in 1990.

An aesthetically pleasing casino

The casino, with an area of 3,000 m2 spread over three floors, designed by theinternationally renowned architect Professor Knud Holscher and ProfessorRudolph Gschnitzer, Austria.

However, there is not much left of the original casino. In 2012 underwent amajor modernization, which resulted in a more contemporary and Nordic look.

On the casino's back wall is pictured a number of Copenhagen's historical and architectural masterpieces. All are assembled and placed side by side, as an artificial underexposed skyline. A special and unique vision.

Accountability

Casino Copenhagen A/S is working with a number of organizations andenterprises in order to contribute to strong accountability in the industry. We play an active role in eg to address problem gambling issues and contribute in all modesty with great knowledge and experience in the field.

In connection with compulsive gambling, we cooperate with the following companies:
